If you are looking for a unique and pleasant place to stay, look no more!
We are campers…tent campers. But the days of camping in the winter, even in our California climate, are over. So in the winter, we look for different adventures. We discovered the Cottages of Napa Valley online and decided to give it a try.
It was fantastic! Very nice accommodations (Cozy King) and grounds! Had opportunities to chat with Mike, the owner, and Christine at the front desk. Lovely people!
The kitchenette is more than adequate. Did a crispy skin salmon, Caesar salad and asparagus. Made a blood orange panna cotta with raspberry sauce at home for the dessert.There is a microwave oven that was not mentioned on the website. We had planned to cook our breakfasts, but, after chowing down on the Bouchon morning pastries, we were too full!
Lots to do in the area. Great wineries and restaurants. The Napa Valley Museum of Art is very close and worth a look. A few miles up the road in St Helena is the Bale Grist Mill Historic State Park…a working 1800s grist mill.
There is a two bedroom cottage with a full kitchen that we plan to book this spring with close friends.

Perfect for a weekend couples getaway!
Absolutely loved this place!
The cottages are beautiful, with so many thoughtful details: a backpack outfitted for a picnic, a well-appointed kitchen with gas burners, a jacuzzi bathtub, heated floors, all sorts of places to sit both inside and outside.
The grounds are beautiful, too — quiet, verdant. A great game room, space for outdoor fires at each cottage. Just wonderful.
We can’t wait to return.
